Effective Date: March 1, 2026 | Last Updated: March 1, 2026
1. Scope of Agreement
This Terms of Service agreement governs the operational transport, delivery, and logistics standards required for all independent delivery partners ("Riders") using the LB Pickup & Delivery Rider Application provided by City Coin Laundry Sdn Bhd ("LaundryBar"). By registering as a Rider, you agree to comply with all rules and obligations outlined herein.
2. Vehicle & Transport Logistics Compliance
2.1 Vehicle Readiness
- Riders must ensure their assigned vehicle (motorcycle, car, or van) is legally registered, roadworthy, and maintained in clean condition.
- Valid vehicle road tax, commercial or personal insurance (as required by local regulations), and an active driving license must be maintained at all times.
2.2 Load Protection & Capacity
- All items must be transported in weatherproof, secure, and clean compartments (e.g., thermal bags, covered trunks, or dedicated laundry hampers).
- Riders must not overload their vehicle beyond legal or safe capacity limits that could endanger traffic safety or damage customer goods.
3. Delivery Operations & Handling Standards
3.1 Pickup & Transfer Protocols
- Verification: Riders must verify customer order IDs, item counts, and special handling tags prior to accepting responsibility for the goods at pickup.
- Hygiene Standard: Garments, dry cleaning, and folded laundry must never touch the ground or come into contact with contaminants, chemical agents, or strong odors (such as food or smoke).
3.2 Routing & Real-Time Tracking
- Riders must enable active location services (GPS) within the app throughout active delivery shifts.
- Riders are expected to follow designated routes provided by the app to ensure punctual deliveries within guaranteed service windows.
4. Logistics Liability & Loss Prevention
4.1 Damage or Missing Items
- Riders assume duty of care from the moment customer items are picked up until they are safely handed over to the outlet merchant or returned to the customer.
- In the event of lost, stolen, or damaged items caused by gross negligence, unauthorized drop-offs, or traffic accidents, the Rider may be held financially accountable for replacement costs.
4.2 Failed Deliveries & Customer Absence
- If a customer is unreachable at the destination, Riders must initiate the in-app 5-minute waiting timer and attempt contact via phone or chat.
- Unclaimed orders must be safely returned to the designated LaundryBar outlet or fulfillment center according to standard operating procedure.
5. Conduct, Account Status & Penalties
- Prohibited Practices: Off-platform transactions, unauthorized co-passengers during active deliveries, and sharing app credentials are strictly prohibited.
- Deactivation: Failure to maintain minimum fulfillment acceptance rates, recurring item damage reports, or traffic safety violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent deactivation of the Rider account.
